







Fifth Annual Fred Biletnikoff Hall of Fame Golf Classic/ Raiders Tournament
Celebrating 50 Years of the Oakland Raiders
The Fifth Annual Fred Biletnikoff Hall of Fame Golf Classic/Oakland Raiders Tournament, presented by the Biletnikoff
Foundation, will be held on Monday, June 1, at Catta Verdera Country Club, 1111 Catta Verdera, Lincoln, California near
Sacramento. The Biletnikoff Foundation has offices in Dublin and Granite Bay , California . Fred and Angela Biletnikoff are
residents of Roseville , California .
The tournament will celebrate 50 years of the Oakland Raiders and is now the official tournament of the Raiders
organization

The Golf Classic includes Biletnikoff Angels, Raiderettes, celebrities from across the nation along with continental
breakfast, amazing tee prizes, a drawing for an original painting by Armando Delgado commemorating 50 years of Raiders
history, $100,000 shoot out, cars, a shotgun start, a $5,000 putting contest, a $12,000 hole-in-one contest, competitions on
the course, food and cocktails on the course, a 19th hole reception, a dinner, entertainment and a silent auction.
Golf Classic tickets are $500 and up.
Armando Delgado will sign lithographs of the original painting for each player on the course.
Raiders coaches playing in the tournament include: Tom Cable, Rich Scangarelo, Aaron Pelch, John Fassel, Ted Tollner,
Willie Brown, Lionel Washington, John Marshall, Mike Haluchak and Sanjay Lal.
From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. spectators can watch the tournament from the Gallery and receive a commemorative t-shirt and
transportation to and from the tournament. No celebrity autographs will be given but guests can take photos from a
designated area.
The Biletnikoff Foundation supports many causes throughout the East Bay and Sacramento area including cancer
research, youth sports programs and Tracey's Place of Hope, a residential treatment center for adolescent girls that
provides several therapeutic activities.
Tracey’s Place of Hope in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a residential treatment center dedicated to helping teens recover
from drugs, alcohol abuse and violence. A second facility is in the planning stages in the Placer County area.

The mission of the foundation is to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff who was brutally murdered in 1999 at a very young
age. Tracey, after recovering from drug and alcohol abuse through programs like those supported by the Biletnikoff
Foundation, dedicated her life to helping “at risk” youth avoid or recover from similar experiences. The foundation supports
Tracey’s Place of Hope in the San Francisco Bay Area, a house for adolescent girls ages 14 -17 ½ that opened in January
of 2000. The program is targeted to girls who are low-income, homeless or at risk of homelessness, with a history of
substance-abuse related problems as well as other mental health issues.
Fred Biletnikoff is an Oakland Raider Legend, class of 1988 NFL Hall of Fame who was named Super Bowl MVP in Super
Bowl XI. In the 14 seasons with the Oakland Raiders, he had 589 receptions, 8,974 receiving yards and 76 touchdowns
with Pro Bowl selection six times and All-Pro selection six times.
